Wine, Wine, and More Wines
Back again this year are our award-winning friends from Laujor Estate Winery. Last year they blew folks away with their spicy Wildcat White Sauvignon Blanc and jammy Zinfandel. No telling what they’ll bring this year; check them out for yourself. New this year is a special find;Mezzacorona wines from the heart of the Italian Dolomites. These single varietal wines are crisp, clean, and elegant. But don’t stop there; we’ll be serving up over 100 wines, from oaky chardonnays to sassy sangioveses to big knock-your -sox off cabernets you’ll find it all. So many wines and so little time!
Arts & Crafts
That’s why we call it an ART & Wine Festival. Artists from throughout the Western United States deliver fine paintings, provocative sculptures, one-of-a-kind jewelry, colorful pottery, unique furniture and much more. Crafts are fun too. We have everything you can imagine; high flying kites, silly bonnets, kids toys, hand-made clothes, toe rings, music cd’s and much more. With over 200 arts and crafts folks on hand you have to see it to believe it. Food, Food, and more Food This is the weekend to pig out. Mouthwatering BBQ oysters, crabcakes, spicy hot (yes, we mean spicy hot) sausages, steaming hot artichokes, and barbecued chicken will help fortify your and keep you going all day long. You may just want some fresh kettle corn or lobster roll + cheese at the premium wine tent. No problem, you can come back for more, we’ve got you covered. Special Wines Showcased in the Premium Tent Clear your pallet and settle in on some of the wine critics’ favorites. Rare gems from Schramsberg, Chalk Hill, Willamette Valley, Merryvale, Joseph Phelps, Stags’ Leap, Erath, and others find their way into the Premium Tent, located, again this year, in the beautiful rose garden. Sip a sexy complex cab or savor a feisty Super Tuscan, the choice is yours. What is best served with fine wines? How about the cool jazz sounds of Dan DeShara and Ken Cooper? Kids are head over heel in the expanded Children's Area.
