Conducted by local wine experts, the seminars feature Frank Rothstein of PRIMA Vini Wine Shop, Chris Bankerd of Pleasant Hill Wine Merchants, Hannah Nicole Vineyards, Manuel Varela of BevMo!, Marcus Hernandez of Postino Restaurant, and Wine Educator Monica Chappel. In collaboration with the county's Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority, Art & Wine 2010 is doing its part to go green and be a resource for conservations and recycling messages and how-to tops. There will be abundant waste and recycling receptacles, and vendors offering green products and services will be sprinkled throughout the park. Experts in waste/recycling programs will be on-site demonstrating food composting; and green-minded games and prizes will delight kids and adults of all ages.

You'll find a wide array of traditional and ethnic foods and beverages, such as chicken and pork tamales, tacos, and rice from The Tamale Factory; Greek sheftalia and souvlaki from Ultimate Souvlaki; hamburgers and crepes from El Chaman Restaurant; calamari, prawn, catfish, and chicken from Taylor's Seafood, and teriyaki chicken and chow mein from Sonoma Teriyaki. Look for artichokes, hot pastrami, chili, trip-tip sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, corn dogs, corn-on-the-cob, chicken kabobs, sausages, baked potatoes, kettle korn, organic juices, iced teas, coolers, shaved ice, frozen lemonade, ice cream, and much, much, more.

Paid parking ($8) is available on site; and a free continuous shuttle originates at nearby Shadelands Business Park. Members of Boy Scout Troop 810 will be on hand to direct traffic in and out of parking lots, aided by members of the Las Lomas swim team.

By Walnut Creek city law, no pets are allowed on festival grounds.

Heather Farm Park is located at San Carlos Drive and Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek. The community jewel boasts 102 lush acres including nature ponds, picnic areas, children's playgrounds, and foot and bike paths with connections to the Iron Horse Trail.
