The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Business Association are pleased to announce that Walnut Creek On Ice is extending the season and will be open until Monday, February 15. This outdoor seasonal ice rink, located at 1365 Civic Drive, in Civic Park, near the intersection of N. Broadway, was originally planned to close after Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 18.

The Chamber's Annual Installation & Awards Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, April 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Scott's Seafood Grill & Bar in Walnut Creek. Outgoing Chairman Leslie Dawson, Glenn & Dawson, LLP, will review Chamber accomplishments and recognize volunteers for their exceptional service. Earl (Rusty) Sealy, with The PMI Group, Inc., will be installed as Chairman along with 2010-2011 directors. UXL Award recipients will also be acknowledged at this time.

Marking its 5th year anniversary, the highly anticipated East Bay Women's Conference presented by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and The PMI Group, Inc., in association with Chevron Corporation, convenes Monday, March 1, 2010, at the San Ramon Marriott, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year's event, Navigating Change - Facing Forward, with award-winning journalist Lisa Ling as keynote speaker, promises to be a full day of inspired learning, networking, and socializing.
