    Walnut Creek on Ice Opens for Its 12th season
    The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and Walnut Creek Downtown are proud to bring the community another holiday rink for all to enjoy. Opening November 10, there are lots of events happening this season. Check out walnutcreekonice.com for all the latest information.

    Have you been waiting to host a Walnut Creek Chamber Business and Social Hour? Now's your chance to let us know! We are now accepting requests to fill our 2018 calendar. Hosting is a great way to showcase your business to Chamber members, non-members, government officials, educators and local businesses. If you would like to co-host a BASH with another Chamber member, please send back only one form that includes each host's contact information.     The Chamber's Education committee hosted its 14th annual middle school ethics day,"#WhatWouldYouDo?—Ethic Fails and How to Avoid Them," on Friday, December 1. Over 50 Walnut Creek middle school students gathered at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church to take part in the program's interactive exploration of various ethical challenges facing all of us today. Thank you to the business representatives led the student groups, and the high school students who helped facilitate discussion,and thank you the generous support of our sponsors!

    Hospice East Bay is proud to be celebrating their 40th year as a pioneer hospice serving our community.The Tree of Lights ceremonies have provided a way for families and friends to honor their loved ones. People who attend a ceremony find solace in the symbolism of an illuminated light as the names of their loved ones are read. These ceremonies help Hospice East Bay raise the funds necessary to provide a high level of care to everyone who needs it.
