Walnut Creek welcomes back its own winter wonderland tradition for a fifths season. The grand opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 12 at 4:30pm. NBC Bay Area will sponsor the first hour of free skating and anchor, Diane Dwyer, will emcee the opening ceremony. A live skating performance and an appearance by the rink mascot, Frosty, will entertain our youngest guests and refreshments will be provided to all by the Walnut Creek Marriott.

Marking its 5th year anniversary, the highly anticipated East Bay Women's Conference presented by the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and The PMI Group, Inc., in association with Chevron Corporation, convenes Monday, March 1, 2010, at the San Ramon Marriott, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year's event, Navigating Change - Facing Forward, with award-winning journalist Lisa Ling as keynote speaker, promises to be a full day of inspired learning, networking, and socializing.
