Hospice East Bay is proud to be celebrating their 40th year as a pioneer hospice serving our community. The Tree of Lights ceremonies have provided a way for families and friends to honor their loved ones. These ceremonies help Hospice East Bay raise the funds necessary to provide a high level of care to everyone who needs it.
The art of Chamber member and esteemed landscape photographer Stephen Joseph will soon be featured in all 90 rooms of the grand Ahwahnee Hotel (Majestic Yosemite Hotel) in Yosemite National Park. Showcased will be Joseph's breathtaking John Muir botanical prints, which were originally created for his stunning book Nature's Beloved Son: Rediscovering John Muir's Botanical Legacy (Heyday 2008). The design firm responsible for the hotel and room renovations, Kollath McCann, has declared these exquisite images of plants, collected directly by Muir himself, a perfect fit for the Ahwahnee, both artistically and historically.
