Kicking off Walnut Creek's 78th annual Harvest Festival was the popular Twilight Parade, held Saturday, September 19. Adopt a Walnut Creek Heritage Site! The Walnut Creek Historical Society will launch a self-guided mobile Downtown Heritage Walk this fall. The Heritage Walk will feature 50 downtown heritage sites. Each site will be marked with prominent signage on a lamp post that includes site information, details on how to access the audio (cell phone) tour, and sponsor names.
